Two sizes. Both are the paper size, not the image size, and both include a white border.
8x10
The paper measures 8 by 10 inches. Roughly the size of a sheet of letter paper. It suits a desk, a shelf, a narrow wall between doors, or a group of several prints hung together.
11x14
The paper measures 11 by 14 inches. Noticeably larger, and the size most standard off-the-shelf frames are cut for. It holds its own alone on a wall above a table or a bed.
Why some pieces are 8x10 only
A print is only offered at a size the original file supports at a true 300 dots per inch. Nothing is enlarged to fill a bigger sheet, because that softens the image. Where you see only 8x10, the file does not have the resolution for 11x14 and the larger size is not offered rather than sold at lower quality.
Orientation
Sizes are written the same way whatever the shape of the work. A horizontal 8x10 print is 10 inches wide and 8 inches tall. A vertical one is 8 wide and 10 tall.
The white border
Every print has a white border of at least half an inch. It is part of the design, it gives the image room to breathe, and it means you can frame the print with or without a mat.
Framing
Both sizes fit standard frames sold in the US. Prints arrive flat, unframed and unmounted.
